The Native Project

The Community Wellness Program is a FREE program for the entire community.  Fun classes are available which involve Youth Fitness, Adult Basketball, Youth Leadership Council, Traditional & Cultural Activities, Kids Cooking, Walking Club, NATIVE Meals-On-The-GO, Healthy Me Classes, Salish Language Classes and Homework Room.  Once a month, we provide a community wellness dinner where everyone in the community is welcome to come & dine with us. During our community dinner, we provide a healthy, culturally appropriate meal, entertainment, prizes and helpful resource information regarding Native American issues, low-income families, at-risk youth, and other community events.  The program starts October 2nd, 2007 and runs thru May 28th, 2008.
