Students can contact their friends and register together. Applications are submitted to the N.A.T.I.V.E. Project Youth Services Staff. The Indian Youth Leadership Camp is intended for students to learn about making responsible decisions, sportsmanship, Indian culture and identity, prevention; cooperation, healing, having fun in a healthy way, & developing a positive vision for the future. Teams compete in areas of speech, writing, team participation, art and athletics. Trophies, certificates and cash prizes are awarded to the winning teams. Everyone receives a prize. Learn how to be a: "Warrior, Nurturer, Scholar and Community Activist."
The Leadership Camp is a great opportunity for school staff and Native American students to become involved in learning more about Indian culture, current Indian issues and developing future Indian leaders. The camp is a great cultural experience and will provide students with lifelong tools for being healthy Native American people.
